Call for Blog Proposals

We’re opening the Animating Archives blog to public submissions of text and images by anyone working on materials related to feminist, counter-cultural practices and tactics of organisation.

If you’re interested in participating please email a proposal for a blog post by Friday 9th April 

The submissions are restricted by the format of the blog, we encourage shorter length (max 500 word) pieces but are open to discussing longer essays. Image based submissions are also welcome as long as you have permission to reproduce the material. We can also host links to video works.

The aim of the Animating Archives research project is to connect academics, artists, researchers and activists working on grassroots archives, including but not limited to the Women’s Art Library and the Jo Spence Memorial Library Archive.

Unfortunately there is no fee available for submitted work. We welcome existing work and work in progress for consideration.
