Description (36 words max): Sahar Ghorishi is the founder and creative director of Journey of/to Dawn.  A platform which amplifies the lost beauties and memories of everyday MENA life. Sahar Ghorishi is a multidisciplinary artist who’s work revolves around nostalgia and displacement in regard to her Iranian heritage. Their work also covers many political topics and translational topics. Sahar is also the founder of Journey of/to Dawn a creative directing platform that explores nostalgia and politics through film . Her work revolves around creating digital art as well as film to tell her story. ” My aim is to let the diaspora know that I understand the trauma, beauty, and pain we go through on a daily”. She aims to Educate through her art and bring peoples attention to something deeper than surface level understanding.”
