The photography team in Department of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London are happy to invite you to Absent Departure, a physical photography exhibition as part of the 2021 BA Degree Show. The show celebrates the diverse and imaginative practices of Goldsmiths photography students, who under the trying circumstances of COVID have produced a brilliant array of works examining among other things, identity, mental health, the encroaching role of technology in our daily lives and the role of photography itself in shaping who and why we are in the world.
