Bai Ling is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at the School of Foreign Languages of Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China.
She obtained her PhD in Comparative Literature from Central China Normal University, Wuhan, and conducted post-doctoral research in the Hans Christian Andersen Center at the University of Southern Denmark.
Her research field is children’s literature and fairy tales in particular, and she has published papers in these fields in journals such as Foreign Literature Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies of Literature, Literary Compass, and Forum on Foreign Literary Studies.
Bai Ling is an Academic Visitor to the Centre for Comparative Literature from September 2023 to August 2024.
