Wang Hongying is a writer and an Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages of Henan Polytechnic University in Jiaozuo, China.
She is a comparative literature and cultural studies scholar with a strong focus on the British Literature, Biofiction, and translation, and she has published papers in these fields in journals such as Foreign Language & Literature Studies, Foreign Language Research, and Journal of Henan Polytechnic University.
Hengyang is is an Academic Visitor to the Centre for Comparative Literature from September 2023 to September 2024. During her stay, she is working on two project: she explores truth and fiction in Edith Nesbit’s novels, and researches the translation of Chinese islands.
