It was a joy to see our interviewees, friends and collaborators at the launch of ‘Archivos de violencia: Estudios de casos en America Latina’ the Spanish language version of our Final Report in Buenos Aires in November 2022. Cecilia Sosa and Vikki Bell were able to travel to host the event, finally (!) We are enormously grateful to the staff of the Centro Cultural Matienzo who rented us the amazing colourful roof bar to have the evening reception. 
We were joined by members of Memoria Abierta, the archive studied for this project as well as artists, academics, human rights workers, museum directors and lawyers to discuss the findings. Discussions were wide ranging and reflected the deeply reflective attitude of the respondents whose work and thoughts are discussed in the report, concerning the building of archives and the contemporary politics of doing memory work. It was a pleasure to see everyone again!
