2020 GFF Edition — Full English Breakfast
Synopsis
“Full English Breakfast” is a surreal stop-motion animation short film exploring British society from the perspective of a foreigner by way of the English breakfast. The film spans an array of techniques, using live action filming as well as stop-motion animation of charcoal drawings and collages to examine the patchwork-like way of life in contemporary England.

He is a South African photographer and filmmaker, currently studying a MA in Photography at Goldsmiths, University of London. Prior to his studies, he worked as a freelance photojournalist based in Tbilisi, Georgia where he covered stories in the greater Caucuses region and in several post-Soviet states, including Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
His photographic projects have been exhibited at the Somerset House Gallery in London and Casa Saraceni Gallery in Bologna, Italy as part of the Syngenta Photography Award. His work has also been shown in galleries in Rome, Nepal, South Africa, Ukraine, South Korea, and Georgia.
