Generation Delta Goldsmiths builds on and feeds into Generation Delta: Building Routes into Professorship for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Women that seeks to redress barriers to access and participation in doctoral study for Black and racially minoritised students generally and women of colour in particular. Led by six members of the Black Female Professors Forum.
Generation Delta aims to lay the foundations for a long-term increase in the retention of Black and racially minoritised women professors in higher education institutions in England. This 4-year project is designed to create lasting networks for Black and racially minoritised researchers.
To support this work two fully-funded Generation Delta (Goldsmiths) studentships are offered each year across the College with award holders becoming Generation Delta Champions. This investment delivers 16 scholarships covering full UK fees and maintenance at UKRI rates over the period 2022-3 and 2029-30.
