Seminar Series

Generation Delta Seminar Series is excited to invite racially minoritised  research students and academics to a roundtable discussion on ‘Ethics and Methods in Research.’ This event is designed as an open, collaborative space for racially minoritized researchers to engage in meaningful dialogue about the ethical considerations and methodological challenges unique to conducting research from, within and about minority communities.

About GDSS

If you would wish to register to join our Seminar Series please fill out this form.

The Generation Delta (Goldsmiths) Seminar Series (GDSS) is a new initiative by the Generation Delta Postgraduate Research Network to create a lively scholarly community for Black and racially minoritised staff and students. The seminars will be hosted monthly in person, and you are welcome to actively participate in shaping this intellectual space. We invite doctoral research students who identify as Black and racially minoritised to contribute to future research presentations in this seminar series. We welcome abstracts for 15-20 minute-long research presentations, whether they are works-in-progress or completed projects, from across the departments.

Please complete this form to register your interest and to receive updates about seminars.  You can let us know at any time if you wish to remove yourself from the mailing list by contacting Abdul Vajid (apuna001@gold.ac.uk), Mia Tuckey (mtuck002@gold.ac.uk) or Devina Paramdeo (dpara001@gold.ac.uk). We ask you to tell us how you identify because the seminar series has been developed for PGR students and staff who identify as Black and racially minoritised. However, some events will be opened up to the wider Goldsmiths community and beyond.

Led by Vajid Punakkath, Mia Tuckey and Devina Paramdeo
