Judy is based in south-London, having had career as a dancer and theatre maker, including working with older people. Her novel, ‘Tales from the Dressing Room’, is semi-autobiographical, set backstage and onstage with two timelines, from the 1890’s and the 1990’s. It is loosely based on the pantomime she performed in, Cinderella. She is currently working on a collection of adult fiction short stories based on older women and their aspects of invisibility, The Invisible Women.
