From Chicago to Rome to Singapore, Goldsmiths alumni are based all over the world and in just one week, 30 Alumni Ambassadors organised a diverse series of events to showcase the scale of our global community and provide a collective experience for all those taking part. Over 400 alumni registered to attend events all over the world in just seven days – a first in the history of Goldsmiths. From river cruises, museum tours to week-long art exhibitions – our alumni found many ways to celebrate being part of the Goldsmiths family.

Alumni Ambassadors hosted events in Athens, Berlin, Chicago, Cologne, Denver, Dublin, Frankfurt, Rome, Oslo, New York, Sao Paulo, Singapore and Zurich. In the same week, we held the first alumni reunion in Tokyo, hosted by the Warden, Patrick Loughrey, and featuring a talk from Professor Caroline Knowles, following her global trail of the Flip-Flop. Over 100 alumni and guests attended.

We’ve collated some of the week’s highlights online so we could share the story of this very special week, thank our dedicated Alumni Ambassadors for organising and of course, thank all our alumni who made it along to one of the events.
