Event Name: Rye Lane Beer Festival
Event attendees: 350
The Rye Lane Beer Festival was the first craft beer festival in the area. Eko Brewery, known for its African-inspired craft brews inspired by African culinary traditions, curated and produced the event. Our Project assistant in preparation for the event, heled developing its cultural offerings and promotional strategy. Securing a micro-grant from the programme further supported the event.
The festival was successful, with tickets selling out and 350 attendees converging at Copeland Park. Guests enjoyed a diverse array of UK craft beers, alongside handpicked food vendors and live music representing the spirit of Peckham. The success of this inaugural event increased consumer awareness for Eko Brewery. This further solidified its commitment to the development of the Rye Lane Beer Festival, demonstrating a proof of concept.
“The programme helped with some coordination work ahead of planning for the event. The support offered allowed our team to achieve a more focused approach with the planning of the event. This led to a more successful outcome for all parties involved.”
