Welcome to all new students who have joined us this term!

The Library is based in the Rutherford Building and is open 24/7 for most of the academic year. To access the building you will need to swipe your Goldsmiths card through the barriers.

Resources and study space

The library provides access to over 300,000 books, 15,000 audiovisual items, 3,600 journals and a wealth of electronic resources such as ebooks and databases.

There is a mix of study space which includes facilities for group study, quiet study and silent study.

Getting Help

Library staff are located on the ground floor at the Help & Enquiry Desk. You can ask here about borrowing books, Library collections and navigating eresources.  The Help Desk  is staffed 22 hours per day, closed only between 6am and 8am.

IT help and information

You should have been provided with a campus username and password which enables you log into the College computers, your Goldsmiths email account, learn.gold, Library eresources and the wifi (eduroam). If you require help with accessing any of these services, please visit the IT Help Desk located on the first floor of the Rutherford Building.
