Video art and performance to video have been instrumental in my personal development, knowledge, creatively and passion as an artist, trainee art psychotherapist and equally the person I am. I use video and performance to release, visualise and process emotions that words would simply escape. I use striking honesty and vulnerability, immersing the audience in powerful imagery and harrowing sounds. Elephant 2020 is a performance to video piece that embodies the raw emotions that have come out of the course, personal therapy and my life over the past year. I have gained a profound self-awareness and self-knowledge that will only grow as the course, therapy and my life continue.
