My artistic interests in airborne imagery (Amelia Earhart), aerial perspectives (Lake) and the dynamism of travel (Car Interior) have emerged over the course of the pandemic.

On placement this year I provided art therapy remotely (by telephone and by Zoom), and have been struck by the resonances between my art practice and clinical work. The lack of co-presence in remote art therapy, and the collective trauma of the pandemic, have rendered both mine and my client’s desires for escape, for freedom and for growth.
