Playing with the literal and the metaphorical, my work explores a dream’s vision to process what is holding and what is gripping for me in the year. Here, was where I learnt to balance, stand my ground and accept my position, no matter how awkward it might be.

The painting reflects the unsteadiness and uncertain footing of life. The feet feel alive and look like like they are feeling their footing! I love the colours too. Very emotive painting.
