Butterfly Dream

Inspired by the ancient Chinese story Zhuang Zhou’s Dream of a Butterfly, this is an interactive VR storytelling experience about a robot that travels between dreams and reality. In the dream, it starts to have feelings, experiencing what humans feel and possessing self-awareness. Under the symbolism of the butterfly and the repetition of similar yet different scenes, this experience reveals the ambiguous feeling of being a robot between the real and virtual worlds.
