This is an interactive piece that shows environmental pessimism and my negative attitude towards the idea that humans can optimise and change the environment. I have taken regional data on deforestation from 1990 and organised it into five-year units of change. In my work, the audience will have both audio and visual experiences, the interaction is made by using a control panel made by physical computing, there are two sliders in the panel, the audience can flick it to make the forest degradation on the screen slow down, and the sound will become cleaner and crispier, however, after a few seconds, the sliders will return to their original position automatically, and the forest is still degrading according to the original speed.
