My project explores the interaction between nature and technology, looking at the life trajectory of plants and the conservation of endangered species. I used TouchDesigner to generate a virtual tree and track its growth dynamics in real time, showing the life process of plants through data visualisation. At the same time, I hand-drew some endangered plants and presented them to the audience in the form of black and white prints. When viewers scan these plants with their mobile phones, they will see the plants in colour in the form of AR, symbolizing the ‘rebirth’ of endangered species brought about by technology and art.

The project aims to raise awareness of endangered plants and to reconnect nature and art through digital means.

My work explores the fusion of nature and technology, showing the vitality and fragility of plants through generative art and AR. I generate the growth of trees in code, capture the outlines of endangered plants with hand-drawings, and then give them new life through AR. This interplay of black and white and colour, virtual and real, reflects our thinking and responsibility for ecological conservation in the digital age.
