Professor Tracey Reynolds

Professor Tracey Reynolds BA, PhD is Professor of Sociology at the University of Greenwich.

Her areas of research focus on families, migrant communities, young people, gender and racial identities and her projects have contributed to developing the state of the art using inter-disciplinary approaches and methodologies to generate new knowledge and perspectives on family-centred migration, multiculturalism and family policy.

Examples of her work include collaborative projects that use participatory theatre and walking methods to engage migrant families as co-producers of knowledge.

She has helped develop a toolkit for training social researchers in participatory methods for the National Centre of Research Methods.

Professor Reynolds wants to make a difference. She says that her work gives a voice to the voiceless.
