Biography
Tom is a Senior Research Fellow at the Leeds Institute for Health Sciences, University of Leeds. Since 2012, he has worked in implementation research, which aims to improve the uptake of research findings into routine healthcare, and change professional and organisational behaviour. He is currently working with the Department of Health and Social Care’s Policy Research Unit for cancer awareness, screening and early diagnosis.
His research interests also include evaluation of interventions to prevent child obesity, and the psychological impact of genetic testing.
