PhD Student
Biography
Anna Lena is a PhD student of the lab. She received her BSc in Psychology from Maastricht University and completed her MSc in Brain and Mind Sciences at University College London. During the research for her Master Thesis, Anna Lena studied different types of pleasant touch. For her PhD she is examining open questions surrounding hugs and the association between pleasant touch and sleep. Apart from touch and embodiment her research interests include disorders of the bodily self and psychoanalysis.
