Time perception

Time perception is prone to distortions and illusions. We investigate human ability to track time and its precision, and how the brain represents time.

We study a variety of features of awareness, from atypical awareness in synaesthesia, through distortions in awareness in dissociative disorders, to higher-order awareness of mental states (metacognition).

Suggestion refers to a communication for an involuntary experience. Our research aims to understand mechanisms underlying response to a suggestion in different contexts and to elucidate the neurocognitive profile of highly suggestible individuals.
