Last night at The Albany in Deptford the Lewisham community came together for A Big Conversation to discuss how creativity is beneficial for mental health – a research project that Rofeda Bougaga is involved with – a recent new member of Alchemy – a very talented all-round creative who is working towards her own solo show this July. She performed some of her poetry live, and Moziah performed three songs. It was such a supportive and talent-filled night. A Big Conversation is a youth-led research and development project connecting four youth arts organisations across Lewisham to explore the value of the arts and creativity in supporting young people with their mental health, wellbeing and happiness.
