“Once I’m Tall”
Your grandparents have been through it,
and so have your parents,
now it’s your turn.
A tall tale of a small boy, who “grows” into appreciating the journey he is on. Tanay wants to be tall as soon as possible and is experimenting with ways in which he could be. Will today be any different?
Join Tanay on this hilarious journey and witness him get some perspective on growing up. Written and illustrated by Akanksha Parulekar.

2018-2020 was a blue period in the illustrator’s life which is when she rediscovered art in a new light. Growing up, art was something that was always made available to her but this was the first time she actually needed it. It helped her reconnect with herself and the world around her once again. Through this sequential illustration, she hopes to express just that but in a broader much simpler sense.
