Jiaxi is a children’s picture book illustrator from China. Since 2020, she has completed five picture books in China and is preparing to publish them. Her undergraduate experience in animation has enabled her to master new media techniques and her illustrations also use traditional mixed media such as collage, gouache, and printmaking. She enjoys traveling, reading, and musical theatre to enrich her experience by experiencing different lives. Hoping to paint imaginative images through simple lines and exaggerated colors.

”Mr. Fox’s Candy Box“ is a heart-warming picture book about the precious friendship between Mr. Fox and Toto. Mr. Fox has just moved to a new town and is very introverted, so his hospitable neighbor Toto keeps Mr. Fox company with his warm and calming songs, and Mr. Fox is gradually moved by the songs to drop his defenses and share the treasures in his candy box with Toto, and Toto’s songs become a new treasure, collected in Mr. Fox’s candy box. This story comes from my own childhood experience. Stone Man
Stone Man is a wordless narrative book consisting of eight illustrations. A humorous, short story about misunderstandings. A villager passes by a temple, sits down next to the stone man, eats a pie, leaves the pie and the basket where they are, and walks away. A group of villagers pass by the temple and find the pie. They mistake it for a divine apparition and offer food to the stone man…
