A Fish out of Water
“What magical would happen if you fed your pet fish too much food? Following this amazing journey with the pet fish Otto!”
This picture book tells about a boy who buys a fish from a pet shop and names it Otto. The shop owner, Mr. Carp, explained to the boy how to feed the fish properly. The boy did not follow the instructions and fed it too much, and Otto began to grow uncontrollably and soon outgrew his tank. This led the boy to keep moving it to a series of larger containers, from the pot to the bath to the pool. It was getting bigger and bigger. Finally, Mr. Carp came to put an end to the chaos and turned the fish back to its original size… …
The Mouse and the Dandelion
One day a mouse found an amazing plant with little white furry balls on it, a dandelion. The mouse loved it very much and suddenly a gust of wind blew and he noticed that the dandelion’s seeds had been blown away and only the bare stems were left. He took the few seeds home and planted them. In the end these seeds grew into a huge dandelion and the mouse had a fantastical adventure clutching the dandelion seeds in his hands in the wind. This story is presented in eight individual tunnel books. The materials used were brushes, watercolour and pastels.
