Synopsis
Traumatized by the violent videos he views each day; a content moderator is forced to hide his deteriorating psyche from a company-appointed counselor.

Aliyu Gambo’s professional background was in social media marketing; my experiences in that industry inspired the story of The Moderator. I am currently completing a MA Filmmaking (producing) and developing my second short film. I like to explore stories of human perseverance in stressful situations and also the awkwardness and tensions that exist living life as a person of colour.
