MAIL ART box: Pat Collins/”Georgia”

one of the Mail Art envelopes unpacked to show illustrated letter

International correspondence sent to Patricia Collins. The Mail Art project (1997) donated by Collins. Art work was sent in response to Pat Collins’s circular letter asking why men seem to be more involved in project documentation than women, why the ‘leading lights’ in mail art were male and why she only knew of three British males writing their doctoral thesis on mail art and no females.
