Federico’s Audio Editing Journey with S & E Consciousness
Federico, a participant in our programme, has demonstrated a profound interest in music and sound right from the outset. However, he expressed a strong desire to acquire new skills, particularly in the field of graphic design. To facilitate his growth, we carefully matched our placement candidate Federico with Anthea from S & E Consciousness, who was seeking a talented sound editor for her podcast.
As Federico progressed through his placement, he and Anthea cultivated a remarkable professional rapport. This working dynamic not only allowed Federico to enhance his existing skills but also enabled him to develop his graphic design skills. Federico explains:
“During my placement, I had the opportunity to learn how to create graphics and music content for a podcast. This experience has been truly invaluable and has given me the skills and confidence to pursue a career in the creative industry.”
Recognising Federico’s creative potential, Anthea entrusted him with the responsibility of handling the visual aspects of her podcast. She praises his contribution, stating:
“He works extremelywell in brainstorming sessions. He would regularly contributeideas and would regularly contribute to mine, he is a great teamplayer, and it has been wonderful working with him, he has greatknowledge of marketing too.”
This collaboration proved to be mutually beneficial as Federico’s contributions enhanced the overall quality of the podcast, while simultaneously expanding his graphic design expertise. Following the conclusion of the placement, Federico and Anthea mutually agreed to continue their collaboration on new projects. Presently, Federico is working on developing a website for Anthea, showcasing his proficiency in web design. Additionally, the duo successfully launched the first episode of the podcast on Spotify, marking the beginning of an exciting creative endeavor.
In conclusion, by pairing Federico with Anthea, he had the opportunity to broaden his skill set while contributing significantly to Anthea’s podcast. This collaborative experience not only fortified their working relationship but also paved the way for future ventures, including website development and the successful launch of the podcast’s first episode.
