Dr Laphatrada O’Donnell obtained a PhD in Translation at Goldsmiths (2023).
Her research focuses on translation and its connections with the tourism industry, and examines the marketing of touristic texts written originally in Thai texts and their English translations in community-based tourism settings in Thailand.
Her other research interests include teaching and learning English as a foreign language in higher education.
